"Odd Numbers" is an abstract reference to the redundancies and oddities of suburban life. The grid speaks to the underlying, imposed structures as well as the daily routines and rituals we all take for granted. Numbers, architectural references, environment, spirituality and time play important roles in my work. The inspiration for this piece was driven by the repurposed adhesive house numbers and the often hidden quirks and "oddities" beneath the facades in suburban life.
