Bio

Lorrie Boydston is an American painter from the Midwest based in Kansas City, Missouri.  She specializes in painting and mixed media artworks inspired by Suburban architecture and life.  Boydston's diverse body of work ranges from  representational scenes of suburban landscapes and architecture to abstract, mixed-media and works on paper.  Her artwork has been exhibited locally and nationally in addition to a variety of publications where her artwork has been featured. Boydston is an active member of the Kansas City Artist Coalition as well as Arts KC's Now Showing corporate exhibit program, and was a delegate for Artist Inc KC in 2019.  Boydston  is a current studio resident at Kansas City Artist Coalition in KCMO.  Follow her on Instagram @lorrieboydstonfineart
